Vitya
Ska was born in Kiev, Ukraine on June 4, 1972.
In 1979 his family emigrated to Chicago. Vitya attended University for five years, (1990-1995), studying
business at Loyola University in Chicago, economics and art history in Loyola
Rome, Italy, (1992), where at the end of his year abroad, he was able to con a
producers pass to the famed Cannes Film Festival. Before returning to Chicago, he traveled to Cannes to meet and
hang out with the top producers, agents, and actors in Hollywood. His lesser feat while in Italy was to
realize his childhood dream of getting the royal tour of the Ferrari factory, a
blessing of serendipitous timing.
Finally,
Vitya majored in film writing and directing at San Francisco State, where he
worked at the San Francisco Zoo as a carousel operator and guide. It was
not shortly after Vitya went to live at a hindu monastery to begin his lifelong
study of yoga that he realized his passion and began cultivating his talent as
a healing artist of nutrition, and has since facilitated rejuvanation for many
people that have adopted the biogenic lifestyle.
In
1995 he co-founded "Raw," San Francisco's internationally
acclaimed gourmet living-foods restaurant.
His menu was the first to offer distinctive organic super-nutritious
cuisine to a growing health conscious market. “Raw” was also the first
restaurant to offer hempseed oil. In
selling his share of “Raw” to his former partner, he moved to L.A. to market
his two feature length screenplays.
Things were going good, like being at the right place at the right time
again and again, but before he could commit to a life in Hollywood he had to
see what life was really about.
Upon
moving to Kauai in 1995 in pursuit a tropical island lifestyle, Vitya continued
to work on and grow from a number of things.
He got back in touch with his passion for art and music, and created ArtSphere,
a quaint art collective and candle factory that although short-lived, was a
creative success. Vitya’s knowledge of
his surroundings and passion for exploration led him to his positions as a tour
guide and interpreter with companies on Kauai, among them, a mountain bike tour
business, an off-road and snorkeling outfit, both National Tropical Botanical
Gardens and the Kauai Historical Society.
Vitya
also worked part time as a videographer, working on the documentary of the
award-winning Kilauea National wildlife refuge, and was hired out as a
cameraman for network news and other projects.
In 1998, with his writing, video, and computer skills, he co-produced www.Gokauai.com,
the first interactive multimedia magazine CD and Web-Site about Kauai, as part
of a marketing tool for the Kauai Mayors Office. His passion for Hawaiian history also led him at this time to
learn and participate on projects for Kilo Lokahi, the Hawaiian Institute
for Cultural Unity and Astronomy.
In 1999, Vitya co-founded Worldhemp Ltd., thus beginning two years of research, development, education, marketing, and sales, making him now one of the most learned authorities on the Cannabis plant, its uses, history, and Industrial potential. . He is the creator of the Hempuccino and Hempprotein brands which will soon compete in the natural food and beverage industry. He also created the Hemp 101 seminar campaign (Still yet to go on tour), to promote the re-awareness of Hemp for the re-greening of the planet.
Vitya
is an activist and proponent of having our material goods based economy change
back to a sustainable and renewable system.
Helping convert the hydrocarbon based standard of living of the last 70
years to the originally intended carbohydrate agricultural model is a big
passion of Vitya’s.
During
2000 Vitya also devoted quality time toward his zeal for dance, music,
playwriting, and graphic design. He is
currently in pre-production on his movie Fenix & Surya, a
mythological dance epic about the Phoenix bird and its’ relationship with
demigods and humans throughout history.
His music, primarily as a singer songwriter can be found at www.mp3.com/vityaska
He is currently shopping for a producer that can make his material
saleable commercially.
In
October of 2000 while visiting his family in Chicago, Vitya was fortunate to
have two life changing experiences all in the course of one week. Vitya, never before athletic, yet energized
with optimum nutrition and a little training, ran the Chicago Marathon for the
first time, and later that week, attended the North American Industrial Trade
Conference as the Hawaii delegate advocate, solidifying key connections Hemp
Industy insiders.
In
2001 Vitya is primarily focused on completing his bachelors in Hawaiian
Studies, physical training, and his music. He is available for private
adventure tours for anyone wishing to visit Kauai, (home of the wettest spot on
earth), and also for seminars and private consultations in the avenue of
optimum nutrition, nootropics, hydrotherapy and hemp education. Proceeds of the
sale of AQUATONIC ionizers go to help Vitya pay for his continuing college
education. Incidently, the University of Hawaii is located in the rainiest city
in the United States, ( 200 inches of rain per year), thus water is a common
theme in Vitya’s story. Vitya’s role of
service as a visionary and original thinker will help the collective
[R]evolution of our society. Vitya’s
mission is to use his skills for the purpose of creating conscious public
awareness of the optimally functional, prosperous, and abundant biodynamic
lifestyle for everybody.
